Full Notification

On 04/19/20 at 1:02 p.m. Officers responded to Fischer’s Food & Liquor, 4554 S. 12^th Street, for a reported robbery.  A male suspect, with a bandana covering his face and his hands in the front pocket of his hooded sweatshirt, demanded money from the clerk. He fled on foot after the clerk handed over an unknown amount of cash.
 
Shortly after Officers arrived in the area they observed a person matching the description of the suspect and attempted to make contact with that person.  The suspect then fled from officers only to be caught a short time later and taken into custody without further incident. $500.00 cash was recovered and the suspect was unarmed.  A 20 year old Sheboygan man is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for charges of robbery and obstructing an officer. The suspect is currently in the custody of the Sheboygan County Detention Center.
