Incident: Gang Member Arrested for Possession of an Assault Weapon
Location: 1200 block of W. Grove St. and 300 block of N. Linden Ave, City of Rialto
Suspect: Jeron Durrah, 29 Years-of-Age, Resident of Rialto
Charges: PC 32310 (a) Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine
PC 30515 (a) Possession of an Assault Weapon
PC 186.22 Gang Enhancement
Synopsis:
This morning the Rialto Police Department served search warrants at two Rialto residences. The Inland Valley SWAT (IVS) served search warrants in the 1200 block of W. Grove St. and the 300 block of N. Linden Ave., resulting in the arrest of Jeron Durrah for multiple felonies.
Officers were investigating information that gang members at both locations were in possession of automatic weapons. During the service of the search warrants, officers located one assault weapon, a high-capacity magazine and arrested Jeron Durrah for being in possession of those items. Durrah is a known gang member and both residences are believed to have been regularly frequented by gang associates.
Jeron Durrah was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with a bail set for $100,000.00.
