Detectives arrested Jorge Camarena Anguiano for Annoying/Molesting a Child under 18

LOCATION: 26700 block of Ward Street, Highland
SUSPECT: Jorge Camarena Anguiano, 50-year-old resident of Highland
VICTIM: Confidential - Female juvenile
SUMMARY:
On Monday, April 13, 2020, at about 4:10 P.M., Deputy Shelly Ponce, assigned as the Highland Station Children and Family Services investigator, was dispatched to the 26700 block of Ward Street in reference to a report of possible sexual abuse to a female victim by a relative, Jorge Camarena Anguiano. The investigation revealed Anguiano had inappropriate contact with the victim in November or December of 2019. San Bernardino County Children and Family Services responded and initiated a safety plan for the child.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2020, Anguiano was interviewed regarding the allegations. At the conclusion of the interview, Anguiano was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for PC 647.6(a), Annoying/Molesting a Child under 18.
