INCIDENT: PC 459 - Residential Burglary

LOCATION: 29000 block of River Run Lane, Highland

SUSPECT: Beau Richard Vandever, 29-year-old resident of San Bernardino


SUMMARY:
On Friday, January 24, 2020, at about 1:43 A.M., deputies from the Highland Police Station were dispatched to the 29000 block of River Run Lane, in reference to a residential burglary that just occurred. During the burglary, the victim’s purse was stolen containing multiple credit cards. A short time after the burglary, the suspects used the victim’s credit card to make an unauthorized purchase at a local gas station.

Through investigation, one of the suspects was identified as Beau Richard Vandever. On Thursday, April 16, 2020, the Highland Detective Bureau served a search warrant on the 1500 block of Indian Trail in the City of San Bernardino. Vandever was contacted and arrested at the location, along with several other subjects including Franklin Coe, a 44-year-old transient who had a no bail arrest warrant for violating the terms and conditions of his Post Release Community Supervision. Investigators found suspected stolen property and suspected methamphetamine for the purpose of sales inside the residence.

Vandever was booked into the Central Detention Center for PC 459, Residential Burglary and PC 484g, Theft of Access Cards. Vandever posted a bail bond and was released from custody.
