Dear Fair Haven Residents:
 
Please be advised that due to Coronavirus restrictions, the Borough’s Tax Office is presently closed to the public. Even with that being the case, there are several ways that you can make your second quarter tax payment, without coming into Borough Hall.
 
1) Mail your tax payment to the Borough of Fair Haven, Tax Collector’s Office, 748 River Road, Fair Haven NJ 07704. If you do not have a tax stub available to mail-in with your payment, please call the tax office at 732-747-0241 x *214 and we will be glad to give you the amount due and the block and lot associated with your property.
 
2) A locked drop box is available in the vestibule located at the front of the Borough Hall Building and this area is open 24 hours a day. Please do not leave cash in the Drop Box.
 
3) Utilize online bill pay with your Financial Institution.
 
4) You can also make your payment by visiting our Borough Website  
   www.fairhavennj.org.  Please be advised there are fees associated with paying your taxes on the Borough’s website, with the ACH fee being the most reasonable.
  
*PLEASE NOTE THAT CASH PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED**
 
Property taxes are due MAY 1ST with a 10-day grace period. May 10th is a Sunday; as such, tax payments must be received in the tax office by Monday, May 11^th. Please do not post-date checks, as we are required to deposit all funds within 48 hours.
 
If you would like your Property Tax Bill stamped, or a printed receipt, please include your tax bill, or a receipt request, with a self-addressed envelope with your payment.
