Face Covering Health Order Is In Effect
In accordance with LA County Public Health advice and guidelines, which also apply to the City of Commerce, yesterday, the City Council adopted a resolution mandating the use of non-medical face coverings for all essential workers in the City of Commerce. The City is also strongly recommending residents use face coverings while out in public, particularly when in proximity to individuals that aren’t members of their family/household.
You MUST wear a face covering:
-Inside essential businesses (grocery stores, banks, etc)
-when around people not in your household
-at work, when interacting with others
-on public transportation
You do NOT need to wear one:
-in your car or backyard
-while taking a walk/run
