Illegal Gambling Operation Discovered in West Covina

On April 24, 2020, at approximately 7:45 pm, West Covina Police Department detectives and Los Angeles County District Attorney Investigators served a search warrant at the Colony Apartments located at 301 S. Glendora Avenue. Recently, the West Covina Police Department received information of an illegal gambling operation taking place within one of the apartments. Sufficient information was gathered and a search warrant was obtained.
Upon serving the search warrant, investigators discovered several gambling machines, bulk U.S. currency, a large quantity of methamphetamine, and four firearms. A total of eleven individuals from the location were arrested and booked for various crimes including illegal narcotics violations, weapons violations, and illegal gambling. Multiple items from the location were also seized.
