6th Precinct Commanders Captain Douglas and Lieutenant Arocho Partner with Sanford Place Block Association to Deliver Food to Seniors 
6th Precinct Commanders Captain L. Douglas and Lt. H. Arocho collaborated with Valerie Crute, President of the Sanford Place Block Association, in shopping for food and household supplies for area senior residents.
The donated items were distributed to seniors in the Upper Vailsburg section of Newark.
Captain Douglas said recipients were grateful for this local partnership of community and police. He also thanked police officers who donated money to make this possible.
