*VIDEO* Vandal Smashes Window of Local Family Owned Lynwood Donut Shop, Century Station

Detectives are looking for a brazen vandal who smashed the window to a popular Lynwood donut shop located on the 11300 block of Long Beach Boulevard.

Surveillance footage shows the vandal bash the window enough times with a hammer until he was able to break it completely.

The incident occurred on Monday, April 27, 2020, at approximately 3:30 a.m., during a time where much of the nation’s family-owned, local businesses are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The suspect, described as possibly a Hispanic male in his 20’s, wore what appeared to be a white shirt, light blue denim shorts, a blue denim jacket and novelty socks.

He carried a dark backpack and fled from the scene northbound on Long Beach Boulevard and out of view.

At least $1,300 in damage was caused; a heavy blow for the family-owned business.

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect.
