The Ocean Township Office of Emergency Management continues to work with the Ocean Township Police Department, Waretown First Aid Squad, Waretown Fire Company and the Township of Ocean Committee along with officials from the county, state, health department and school district to address this ever changing situation.

This afternoon the Ocean County Health Department notified us that we had one (1) new case of COVID-19 in town today.

Township of Ocean:
 
2^nd Quarter - Tax Bill Information:
The 2^nd Quarter Tax Bills are due on May 1, 2020.  The Township Committee will extend the grace period until June 1, 2020.  If the tax payment is not received by June 1, 2020, interest will revert back to the statutory due date of May 1, 2020.
 
Reminder payments can be made:
Tax and Utility payment can be done be via the Township’s website  - www.twpoceannj.gov

Payment for Taxes and Utility: Checks can be dropped in an envelope in the mailbox in front of Town Hall, 50 Railroad Avenue at any time.  This payment box has a security camera. Payments can be mailed to: 50 Railroad Avenue, Waretown, NJ 087578
 
Tax Payment Extension:
Please be aware that Governor Murphy today signed an Executive Order #130 allowing municipalities to extend the grace period on property tax payment for May 1^st taxes until June 1, 2020.  This applies to residents who do not pay their property taxes through a mortgage.
