A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...
The Flood Watch continues for
* All of northeast New Jersey.
* From this evening through Friday morning
* A strong frontal system will approach tonight with bands of heavy rain moving up from the south and southwest. There is the potential for the training of heavy rainfall bands over the watch area.
* Flooding is possible along the faster responding small river and streams across the watch area. Urban and poor drainage flooding is possible as well.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later local forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
