04/30/20 at 7:40 am Officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the retention pond at S 32^nd St and Washington Ave. A 19 year old Sheboygan man drove south on S 32^nd St through the stop sign at Washington Ave and into the pond. He was on top of his vehicle when officers arrived. Officers were able to throw him a flotation disk and pull him to safety. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for hypothermia. The cause of the accident is under investigation but at this point appears to be the result of a medical event.
