To Plumsted Residents,
Please be advised there are numerous scams during this unprecedented time and are aimed towards. While many of them are aimed at our senior communities, these scams are occurring to all. These scammers are contacting the residents of New Jersey and surrounding states, advising them that family members have been incarcerated and they must pay large amounts of bail money. Please do not send or transfer funds to anyone during this time unless you directly know the person is in need. These scams are rapidly growing which state money is required for posting bail of incarcerated family member is the most recent SCAM. Numerous senior citizens throughout New Jersey have been targeted but we wanted to make everyone aware. Again, please do not give, send or transfer money to anyone regarding bail money for a family member.
