Advisory

This message is to help keep you informed of the latest COVID-19 directives affecting the City of Chula Vista.

Beginning May 1, face coverings are required when you leave your home and are within six feet of someone not in your household. MTS also will require face coverings on all buses and trolleys. Face coverings are still required when you go to or are in line at any essential business. Children under age two are not required to wear any face covering.

Chula Vista parks, including dog parks, remain closed. This means no picnics, no playing on the playground equipment, no sports activities, no gatherings in any park. You may walk, bicycle or run in your neighborhood park but you must keep moving - no stopping. Park restrooms and parking lots also remain closed. Remember to maintain a six foot social distance between others and wear your face covering.

We appreciate our residents and businesses who continue to follow the directives enacted by the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, and the Governor. The more we comply, the sooner we can resume our regular activities. For up-to-date information on COVID-19, visit the City of Chula Vista website at www.chulavistaca.gov/coronavirus.
