Fast Acting Deputies Arrest One for Attempted Burglary In La Cañada Flintridge 
At approximately 7:58 AM, Crescenta Valley Station received a 911 call from a homeowner at the 5100 block of Earl Drive, La Cañada Flintridge. The victim had seen a male adult suspect attempt to break into the back door of the residence. The victim scared off the would be burglar by yelling at him.
Deputies responded and combed the area for the suspect. During their search, a person matching the description of the suspect was located at Hillard Avenue and Earlmont Avenue. Deputies quickly detained the suspect and conducted a field show-up. The victim identified the person detained as the suspect who attempted the break-in. The suspect was booked at Crescenta Valley Station for attempted burglary.
