Santa Rosa man arrested for pandering and sex crimes against a minor.

Sonoma County Sheriff detectives assigned to the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault unit arrested Andrew Flolo, 20 years old, Santa Rosa, for twelve felonies.

The investigation began on April 13, when deputies were dispatched to investigate a domestic violence incident in Santa Rosa. The sixteen-year-old victim told deputies that her 20-year-old boyfriend, Flolo, had physically assaulted her and was forcing her to perform sexual acts on strangers for money.

Detectives began investigating the allegations by collecting physical and electronic evidence. During the investigation, detectives were able to locate evidence that corroborated the victim's statement. On April 27, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Flolo and had been looking for him since.

On May 1, at approximately 4:49 pm, a deputy made a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Santa Rosa Avenue on a car that Flolo was a passenger in. Flolo was taken into custody and found to have a loaded handgun in his waistband. While searching the car, the deputy found a backpack belonging to Flolo that contained prescription pills, heroin, packaging material, and a digital scale. The driver and another passenger were questioned and released.

Detectives served a search warrant at Flolo's house. Detectives found two stolen rifles. The rifles were stolen out of Stockton following a residential burglary.

Flolo was booked into the Sonoma County Jail for the following felonies: causing a minor to engage in commercial sex, pandering, domestic violence, death threats, oral copulation of a minor, unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, possession of narcotics for sale, transportation of drugs for sale, possession of a loaded firearm in public, possession of a controlled substance while armed and possession of the stolen property. He is being held on $500,000 bail.
