Full Notification

Sometime overnight a large bundle of refuse was dumped along SR 117, just west of Old Mine Road in West Cornwall Township. The bundle of refuse contains a sofa, carpet, household garbage, and we are not sure what else until we can sort through it. The bundle was wrapped in a tarp, secure by rope, and apparently pushed off the back of a truck or trailer, onto the westbound lane of SR 117. Person(s) responsible then attached a come-along to the bundle, secured the other end to a tree, and pulled the bundle partially onto the shoulder of the westbound lane.
PennDOT responded with a front end loader and dump truck to transport the refuse to a location where it can be examined.
