The experts in the Berkeley PD Bomb Squad have advised they will safely destroy the suspected explosives on site. This should occur at approximately 11:00pm. No need for any evacuations. Avoid all hiking trails above the Homestead Valley. More specifically avoid the area of 6A trail near Eagle trail which is located above Stolte Grove and below Amaranth Blvd.
