Hayward Animal Shelter 
Our doors to the public may be closed at our Hayward Animal Shelter due to COVID-19, but that’s doesn’t mean our beloved guests at our Animal Shelter won’t find their forever homes!
That’s just what happened to Freya – a young pit bull mix! We were able to reach out to our community to get her a foster home. And, thanks to social media, a new loving family adopted her after seeing a post on Facebook!
We’re happy to say that Freya found love during this difficult time– and we’re still hard at work finding homes for all our furry friends!
