The Ocean Township Office of Emergency Management continues to work with the Ocean Township Police Department, Waretown First Aid Squad, Waretown Fire Company and the Township of Ocean Committee along with officials from the county, state, health department and school district to address this ever changing situation. 

This afternoon the Ocean County Health Department notified us that we had one (1) new case of COVID-19 in town today.

Township of Ocean:

Please be aware The Tennis and Pickleball Courts are now OPEN. 
 
The key needs to be picked up from the Police Department Dispatch and returned after the courts are locked.
 
Please follow the below rules: 

• singles only, or doubles where the partners live in the same household
• each player (or double partners) serve with their own balls, and the receiving player(s) does NOT touch the ball with their hand and uses their racquet to get balls back to the server.
• balls for each player are uniquely marked (like in golf) 

Still Closed are:  Playground Equipment, picnic tables, basketball courts, bathrooms, pavilions
 
Please be reminded when using the parks for passive recreation, use social distancing and wear masks.
