SBPD to Hold Virtual Memorial Service for Fallen Peace Officers -- Friday Morning

The Santa Barbara Police Department will livestream a 15-minute memorial service to honor all fallen peace officers on May 15th at 9:00 A.M.
 
Due to the current pandemic, the ceremony will be virtual.  You can view it by logging into your Facebook account and going to the Police Department’s Page:

Viewers can watch the event in real time or view the recording in its entirety via the Department’s Facebook Page. The service will adhere to the California Governor’s social distancing orders to protect the health and well-being of ceremony personnel.
 
Peace Officers Memorial Day is held annually in the United States on May 15th in honor of federal, state and local officers killed in the line of duty. It is observed in conjunction with Police Week.
