Today’s National Police Week Virtual Candlelight Vigil
In these days of COVID-19, we can’t gather but we can certainly honor and remember those who served.
This is National Police Week in which typically we gather to reflect on the 21,000 names at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C.
But, due to the health crisis our nation and the world is facing, public gatherings in our nation’s capital have been cancelled.
The National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum wants you to know that National Police Week continues to be dedicated time to honor, remember, and celebrate American Law Enforcement.
Today, you can watch from anywhere in the world as the names of 307 brave men and women are read aloud in respect, honor and remembrance.
