Mariposa County moves to Stage 2.5 Effective Immediately
Mariposa County has received word from the California Department of Public Health that our Roadmap to Reopen has been approved and we can now move to Stage 2.5.
What does Stage 2.5 mean for residents:
To stay in Stage 2.5, and move forward, we must stay vigilant and avoid the spread of COVID-19 in Mariposa County, please follow these guidelines:
Non-essential travel is still not allowed
Social Distancing
Cover your Cough & Sneeze
Avoid touching your face
Wash your hands
Isolate yourself should you become sick
Business’s Allowed to Open:
- Essential businesses
- Retail (relaxed modifications)
- Logistics & Manufacturing
- Dine-in restaurants
- Schools and childcare facilities can reopen- MCUSD will remain closed for the remainder of the year
- Personal services, limited to: car washes, pet grooming, tanning
- Malls and swap meets
- Office-based businesses (Teleworking encouraged)
- Outdoor museums
