INCIDENT: Attempt Murder

SUMMARY:

On Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at approximately 11:31 p.m., deputies responded to a residence located in the 7000 block of Oakwood Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located three adult victims inside of the residence with gunshot wounds.

Through investigation, it was discovered the shooter and the three victims were in a verbal altercation at the location. He brandished a gun and shot multiple rounds, striking all three victims. All victims were transported to hospitals with life-threatening injuries but are expected to survive after receiving medical treatment.

The shooter fled the location prior to deputies’ arrival, but has been identified as Ricardo Kelley, 24-year-old from Hesperia. Investigators continue to look for Kelley to question him about the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Kelley is described as a Hispanic male, 5’-06”, 156 pounds, last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans. Kelley has tattoos of Mickey Mouse and the Superman symbol on his right arm.
