THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 184 UNTIL 5 AM CDT FRIDAY WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 182. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS JOHNSON KS MIAMI IN MISSOURI THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI CALDWELL LIVINGSTON IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI CLAY JACKSON RAY THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BRAYMER, BRECKENRIDGE, CHILLICOTHE, EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, GLADSTONE, HAMILTON, INDEPENDENCE, KANSAS CITY, LAWSON, LENEXA, LIBERTY, LOUISBURG, OLATHE, OSAWATOMIE, OVERLAND PARK, PAOLA, POLO, RICHMOND, SHAWNEE, AND STANLEY.
