On May 14, 2020, at 7:00 PM, the Bakersfield Police Department notified the Kern County Sheriff's Office that they had received a Shot-Spotter activation in the 1000 block of Lincoln St. Deputies responded and located evidence of a shooting, but could not locate a victim. Shortly after that, a male victim arrived at a local hospital with a single gunshot wound. The victim is expected to survive. At this time, there is no suspect information.
