The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma... Southwestern Grady County in central Oklahoma... Southern Caddo County in southwestern Oklahoma... Northeastern Tillman County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 657 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen over portions of the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lawton, Cache, Elgin, Apache, Rush Springs, Fletcher, Cyril, Sterling, Cement, Medicine Park, Indiahoma, Meers, Lake Lawtonka, Agawam, Fort Sill, Lake Ellsworth, Ninnekah, Acme and Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.

* AFFECTED AREAS: GRADY, OK ... CADDO, OK ... COMANCHE, OK ... TILLMAN, OK
