Victim:            Ralston Good, 38-year-old male, Resident of San Bernardino
Suspect:          Durnee Dickerson, 60-year-old male, Resident of Rialto 

Synopsis:
On May 16, 2020, at approximately 6:58 pm, the Rialto Police Department Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call regarding a shooting victim in the 1500 block of West Etiwanda Avenue.  Officers responded and located Ralston Good unresponsive at the front door of Durnee Dickerson’s residence.  The Rialto Fire Department responded and pronounced Good deceased at the scene.
Detectives have obtained witness statements and recovered evidence that Good came to Dickerson’s residence and became confrontational.  The incident escalated to the point where Good and Dickerson became involved in a physical altercation, at which time Dickerson armed himself with a handgun.  During the physical altercation, the gun was fired and Good sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body.  Dickerson attempted life-saving measures until the Rialto Fire Department arrived but Good was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

Dickerson was not arrested.  The investigation is ongoing and will be forward to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for review.
