Brian Mikhail of Riverside was arrested for grand theft

SUMMARY:
On May 6, 2020, Highland Station Deputies investigated a report of a theft from a vehicle. The suspect stole a box from the victim’s vehicle that contained a juvenile girls' softball team jersey’s and visors. Brian Mikhail was identified as the suspect who stole the property. Mikhail was observed driving a 2011 blue BMW. On May 18, 2020, Highland Station Detectives arrested Mikhail for grand theft. It is suspected that Mikhail disposed of the softball team’s jerseys and visors behind a commercial building in the City of Highland. Additional suspected stolen property was located in Mikhail’s vehicle when he was arrested. Detectives are releasing a photograph of the suspect, as they believe he may have been involved in other thefts throughout the city of Highland.
In compliance with the statewide Emergency Bail Schedule, issued by the California Judicial Council, bail for most misdemeanor and felony offenses must be set at $0. Because of this criteria, Mikhail was booked into the Central Detention Center and released from custody following the booking process
