Criminal Investigations Bureau 
Despite our current health crisis, the hard work of our Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) must go on!
Homicide/Major Assault, Robbery/Property Crimes and Special Victims Unit are the three units that make up our Criminal Investigation Bureau. Several detectives are assigned to each unit and each detective has their area of expertise.
Our CIB Detectives are usually dressed up in business attire but at the moment they get to dress more casual.
Of course, a big part of their job is interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects. So, doing that safely may take a bit more time and care. But, they’re getting it done along with executing search warrants and presenting their cases to the District Attorney’s Office.
We can safely say that they haven’t missed a beat!
