Mayor McNutt has Memorial Day Message for Community.
We're # INthistogether

This year Memorial Day weekend will look a little different in our City, as in other Towns and Cities across Indiana. It will be a little quieter and a little less traditional - with the Indy 500 postponed until August, and many other gathering being postponed.

Let us take time too remember those who may have lost the battle with Corona virus Disease 2019 (Covid 19) and please protect yourselves, and your family as you celebrate this Memorial Day.

There is 1 thing we can't change or postpone, and that is honoring those Jonesboro Hero's, and all Hoosiers that made the ultimate sacrifice, while serving their Country.
Please join with most Americans across our great country as we plan a moment of silence on Memorial Day at 3:00pm.
Along with flying your Flag at half mast, from Sunrise to Noon, and lighting a candle on your front porch at dusk to symbolically remember and Honor, the over 1 million brave Men and Women
who lost their lives defending our freedoms.
May God Bless You.
Bob McNutt, Mayor
