* At 202 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Three to Four inches of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's Summit, Shawnee, Lenexa, Leawood, Raytown, Liberty, Gladstone, Grandview, Belton, Prairie Village, Raymore, Gardner, Merriam, Mission, Parkville and Spring Hill. Additional rainfall amounts of two to three inches are possible in the warned area.

Instructions:
