A 17-year-old male was cited for vandalizing several graduating students banners on display at Yucaipa High School

SUSPECT(S): 17-year-old male a resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): Four graduating students of Yucaipa High School
SUMMARY: On Sunday, May 24, 2020, several student banners located on the perimeter fence of Yucaipa High School were vandalized. The banners were purchased by the family members of graduating students and displayed in front of the school.
Through investigation, the School Resource Officer identified a 17-year-old suspect. On Wednesday, May 28, 2020, the juvenile was contacted at his residence. The juvenile and his father were cited into Juvenile Court for misdemeanor vandalism.
