“Evesham Township will hold a short prayer vigil later this evening to call for a peaceful end to all forms of racial inequality in our society.
This vigil will take place at 7 p.m. at Evesboro Downs Park on Evesboro-Medford Road.
Speaking will be members of township council, along with Chief of Police Christopher Chew, members of our local clergy and additional elected representatives for our area. Speakers will guide conversation in our community to the ways we can all love one another as we work to end systemic racial inequality everywhere.
The vigil is currently scheduled to be streamed through Facebook Live.”
