For the safety of all citizens, the Village of Shorewood is issuing a mandatory curfew for tonight starting at 9 p.m. (June 1, 2020) until 5:30 a.m. (June 2, 2020). The curfew is needed to help protect Shorewood's retail areas, public buildings and households from potential civil unrest events that have occurred in other nearby neighborhoods. It also allows our Public Safety officers to utilize all the tools necessary to keep our residents safe and protect our community. All businesses that are open to the public should remain closed during the curfew time frame.
