Recent Drug Arrests 
On June 2, 2020 at 0345 hours, a Seward Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Charlotte Davenport and George Via. Both were found to be in the possession of heroin and methamphetamine.
Davenport and Via were arrested and charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree Intent to Distribute (A Felony), Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree Intent to Distribute (B Felony) and Violating Conditions of their Release (B Misd).
Davenport and Via were remanded to the Seward Community Jail pending their arraignment.
