The Channahon Police would like to thank everyone who continues to report suspicious activity, helping to keep our community safe. We encourage everyone to dial 9-1-1 in an emergency. Our non-emergency phone number is 815-467-2112.

We continue to monitor and assess situations in nearby communities related to civil unrest. To date, there is no known specific threat to Channahon. We remain vigilant and ask our community partners to do the same.

Additional officers are on duty. We have coordinated with neighboring agencies to provide and/or receive assistance if needed. Routes into Channahon are patrolled regularly throughout the day and night. Officers also patrol each neighborhood, check local businesses, and speak with residents to address their concerns.
