On March 17, 2020, Oxford City Council voted to make parking meters free in the uptown area. This was done to incentivize citizens to patronize the businesses uptown while so much in our society was shut down. On June 3, 2020, Council voted to reinstate parking meter operation and its enforcement. Please pay the meters and continue to visit our uptown area, turnover for these parking spaces is important for our businesses!
