Deputies provided traffic control for approx. 400 people who participated in a peaceful protest on Greenspot Road

SUMMARY:
On June 3, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., community members assembled in a peaceful protest and march on Greenspot Road from the 210 Freeway to Church Avenue in Highland. Deputies from the Highland Police Department provided traffic control for approximately 400 people as they marched on Greenspot Road. The traffic lanes on Greenspot Road were shut down during the event, which lasted about 3 1/2 hours. There were no reports of problems during the event. The Highland Police Department would like to thank the protesters who exercised their freedom of speech and remained peaceful during the protest.
