Street Sweeper Update

June 4, 2020

RE: Street Sweeper Violations

Bordentown City Residents,

The Bordentown City Police Department wishes to advise the residents of Bordentown City that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing, and stay at home restrictions currently in place, Street Sweeper Violations WILL NOT be written per the code of the City of Bordentown, Chapter 258, Section 13 entitled “Street Sweeping.”

We understand that many people are not back to work yet and we do not want inconvenience our residents. However, it is important to note that even though we will not be issuing summonses for Street Sweeper Violations, the sweeper will run periodically to help keep up the maintenance of our City.

On behalf of Mayor James E. Lynch and Chief Miller, we would like to thank you for your patience during this time. Please be advised that another update will be forthcoming on July 1st.
