There will a march/protest going through San Marino on Saturday 06/06/20 at 1:00pm.

Dear San Marino residents and business owners,

The San Marino Police Department has received information there will be a planned protest/march occurring on Saturday, June 6, 2020 commencing at 1:00 PM. The march is being planned by two students that attend San Marino High School. The planned route of the march will be along Huntington Drive, from San Gabriel Boulevard (B-Mans restaurant) to Atlantic Boulevard (In-N-Out).

The San Marino Police Department will be reaching out to our law enforcement partners to assist us with managing this expressive activity. As such, you may see multiple police vehicles from other police departments driving within the city of San Marino. It is also possible that a police helicopter will be monitoring the march from above.

This march is being touted as a “student-led peaceful protest.” We are not expecting any vandalism or violence but we will be prepared if those incidents occur. Business owners should do what they feel is necessary to protect their businesses.
