Deputies arrest Stephanie Evans from Bullhead City for stealing a vehicle

SUSPECT(S): Stephanie Evans, 34 year old resident of Bullhead City, AZ
SUMMARY:
On June 4, 2020, at approximately 11:20 AM, a resident in the 1700 block of Davidson St. realized a vehicle she owns was missing from its last known location, and no one had permission to use the vehicle. She reported it stolen, and vehicle information was immediately sent to assisting deputies. Within a few minutes, the vehicle was located at a business in the 1400 block of J St. Assisting deputies arrived at the business and located a female suspect, Stephanie Evans. She was arrested without incident and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail for CVC 10851, vehicle theft. She was released from custody on emergency bail with a pending court date.
On April 6, 2020, the Judicial Council of California adopted related to the COVID -19 pandemic (item #20-141). Rule #4 established a statewide emergency bail schedule that sets bail at $0.00 for most misdemeanor and lower level felony offenses and included other specified provisions. The emergency rules took effect on April 13, and remain in effect until further notice.
