INCIDENT: PC 459 / Residential Burglary

LOCATION: 12000 Block of Quail Court, Yucaipa
32000 Block of Tennessee St., Yucaipa

SUSPECT(S): Isaiah Battle, age 21 a resident of Riverside
Frank Avila, age 20 a resident of San Jacinto
Isaac Padilla, age 21 a resident of San Bernardino

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 4th, at approximately 3:41 a.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence. The victim heard glass break and hid inside her bathroom. Deputies arrived on scene and saw two male suspects, identified as Frank Avila and Isaac Padilla exiting the home with backpacks containing the victim's property.

Both suspects fled the scene and deputies chased them through nearby yards. Avila fell several feet from the top of a fence and was detained. Padilla fled and broke into another residence and a vehicle on Tennessee Street. Padilla attempted to flee in the vehicle, but a gate prevented his escape. Padilla was confronted by the owner of the vehicle and Padilla again fled.

Deputies set a perimeter around the area and a Sheriff's K-9 assisted with the search. The K-9 located Padilla hiding in the bushes and he was detained. During the investigation a third suspect, Isaiah Battle, was located in a nearby vehicle. The three suspects were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center.
