Motorcycle v Car 2 Injured


Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 06/07/2020 at 1309 hours, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a motorcycle/ car crash that occurred on Mason Road east of Calvin center, Mason Township. Adrain Black, 27 -year-old of Constantine, was driving his motorcycle westbound on Mason Street when Stephanie Wolkins, 30-year-old of Cassopolis, who also was traveling westbound, turn left into her driveway. As she was turning Mr. Black tried to pass on the left hitting Wolkins's vehicle and throwing Mr. Black and his passenger Sabrina Porter, 47-year-old out of Sturgis, to the ground. Both Porter and Black were transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for their injuries. Safety belts were worn and helmets were not worn. At this time it is not known if intoxicating substances were a factor. This case remains under investigation.
