On June 8, 2020, at 7:45 am, the Kern County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the victim of a shooting at the intersection of Rose St. and Griffith Ave. in Wasco. Deputies located a Hispanic male victim down in the roadway. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Due to the condition of the victim, a homicide callout was initiated. There is no suspect information at this time.
