At a special meeting held Monday, June 8, 2020, the Danville Town Council approved a set of limited street closures to allow restaurants to expand their outdoor seating to accommodate for the closure of indoor dining through the end of the month. The closures are set for three months, but that time frame can be modified depending on social distancing requirements.

The areas affected by the temporary closures are:
                                    Church Street
                                    W. Linda Mesa Avenue
                                    Parking spaces on Hartz Avenue
                                    Parking space on Rose St.

Maps of the closures and the resolution approved by the Town Council can be found online.

To participate, restaurants will be required to obtain an administrative Temporary Outdoor Seating Permit.  Applications for the permit can be found at www.danville.ca.gov/outdoordiningpermit
