Due to a blown transformer in the East Los Angeles area the south end of Monterey Park has experienced some power outages including traffic signals. The outage appears to be from Atlantic Blvd. south to 1st street. Please use caution driving those areas. If possible use alternate routes. Remember state law requires motorist to treat blacked out intersections like stop signs. We hope to have the the problem fixed as soon as possible.
