June 10, 2020 Knowlton Township Coronavirus & Reopening Update
Warren County has reported 6 new cases of Covid-19 in the last week, which is a significant improvement from several weeks ago. As of last evening, Knowlton has had 11 cases, with 7 of them fully recovered.
Please be advised of the following:
On the local level:
- Ballots for the primary election, which was moved to July 7 due to coronavirus concerns, have been mailed. Residents will not receive a sample ballot this year. They will receive only the actual ballot, which will arrive by mail in the next few days. According to the state’s directive, "any voter who appears at a polling place on the day of the July primary shall vote via a provisional ballot, except that a voter with disabilities may vote on an ADA-accessible voting machine." Therefore, all residents are strongly encouraged to use the mail-in ballot.
- The Knowlton Township Auction of property has been rescheduled for June 17. Registration and additional information can be found on the Township website: www.knowlton-nj.com
