After speaking with McKeesport Police Chief Alfer in length, our departments now believe the vigil demonstration scheduled for this Friday June 12, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm will possibly take place on the JEROME STREET Bridge in McKeesport. Chief Alfer stated the original location of the 15th. Street Bridge is most likely an ERROR. However, the Port Vue Police Department is still advising a traffic caution for the 15th. Street Bridge area during this time to be on the safe side. Our department will still maintain an abundance of visible police officers near the 15th. St. Bridge area until we are satisfied there is no threat to our community.
