Opening of Municipal Complex and Public Works Yard
Governor Murphy allowed for indoor gatherings of 25% of building capacity or 50 people which ever is less effective June 9, 2020, so the Municipal Complex will be opening effective June 15, 2020 for normal business hours. Masks will be mandatory to enter the building, the building will be retrofitted to adhere to CDC guidelines and State of New Jersey Health Department regulations. Once the building hits the max of 50 people you will have to wait to enter the building. If you have a fever, experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms we ask that you stay home and not come to the complex. You can always call with questions or concerns the main number is 609-296-2701.
As for the Council Meeting on June 15th it will still be done via GoTo Meeting (information can be found on the website) but going forth I believe the Council may began to hold the meetings back at the complex, once the Council decides information will be given.
Public Works Yard will now be open 7 days a week from 8 am to 3 pm BUT will be CLOSED from 12 pm to 12:30 pm. The offices at the Public Works/Water/Sewer Yard will be open effective June 15, 2020 but we are asking that you call for an appointment to enter the building. Also if you need assitance from one of our employees or you are within 6 feet from anyone in the yard itself a mask MUST be worn. A mask is also mandatory to enter that building. If you have any questions please call 609-296-5058.
Thank you and be safe!
